Predicting pore volume, compressive strength, pore connectivity, and formation factor in cementitious pastes containing fly ash

چکیده
This paper describes the use of thermodynamic modeling to predict reaction products and properties cementitious pastes containing fly ash. A pore partitioning model is used estimate gel capillary volumes. The paste performance predicted in terms its porosity, compressive strength, formation factor, deicing salt damage susceptibility. proposed quantify refinement that occurs when ash used. Comparisons are made between by experimentally measured with two ashes at different water-to-binding ratios varying replacement levels. error predicting porosity 5%; strength 14% for OPC systems 26% + FA systems; factor 1 20% systems, 13–26% OPC+20%FA 18–46% OPC+40%FA systems.
